Festus is a city in Jefferson County, MO, and a suburb of St. Louis. It boasts population of over 12,000 residents as of 2020 census. Festus and its neighbor Crystal City are known as “Twin Cities”.  Festus was originally called Tanglefoot but when the city grew larger a more dignified name was chosen. The city of Festus was incorporated in 1880.

The City Of Festus is a family-oriented community with 40% of its families having children under 18 years of age. Festus is proud of its vibrant recreation scene with beautiful 7 parks and ample sports and recreation facilities. There is always something fun happening in Festus. Festivals and community events draw big crowds and bring this fun-loving community together year-round.

We’ve been working with Tony Knittig/Country -Tek Homes since the late 90’s. Tony and his operations have always been on top of their game and courteous to deal with. We work in the homes before and after buyers move in performing minor repairs. Based off the craftsmanship I’ve seen and talking with the new homeowners, I would not hesitate to have Country-Tek Homes build me a house!
