The City of Black Jack, Missouri is a gem of a residential community with about 7,000 residents. The city is committed to bringing its citizens the highest quality in standards of government. Black Jack currently welcomes and supports dozens of businesses, eight churches, and excellent schools. They respect their green space and treasure their 75-acre park, as well as the Joyce E. Hoffman Nature Park. As Black Jack continues to grow, the city still basks in the shade and life originally generated by the seeds of the three American Oaks that were nick-named the “Black Jacks” near the intersection of Parker Rd. and Old Halls Ferry in the mid-1800’s. Those stately trees represent who and what Black Jack is today, a proud city with strong roots, providing the safety and respite of community for residents coming home.
